  • I completed an internship at Eating Recovery Center of the Carolinas (ERC) during graduate school, and I then went on to work for ERC for several years as a Behavioral Health Counselor, Primary Therapist, and Utilization Review Specialist. I valued my time there working with clients and families at Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient levels of care both in-person and virtually. Since 2021, I have worked at the outpatient level of care providing counseling services for clients with a variety of challenges. I opened my private practice, Apricity Counseling, in 2024.

Hi, I’m emily miller

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina, and I am passionate about helping people create better relationships with food and their bodies so they can focus on everything else that’s important in their lives. I have worked with clients with eating disorders and difficult relationships with food, body, and exercise since 2017. As eating disorders often overlap with a variety of other struggles, I also routinely work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, perfectionism, obsessive thoughts, and self-esteem. Additionally, I have experience supporting clients surrounding challenges with fertility, pregnancy, and adjusting to parenthood.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and pets. I love all things nature, animals, crafting!
